We had Pozole and it was very good. Beatiful view of the ocean and a lot of great history photos. A must see!!!
This restaurant is at Los Flamingos Hotel, high on a cliff overlooking the ocean. We were seated outside, but the view was blocked by bamboo shades to ward off the sunshine. The place is popular for supper and many tables were reserved. We were there on a Thursday afternoon and it was not crowded yet. The special on Thursday is... More
Went here on recommendation from Fodor's for traditional Mexican Thursday meal of Pozole. The place has come down quite a ways from its former glory days in the 50's when Hollywood greats would visit. But it has a fresh coat of flamingo pink paint and it is a nice atmosphere. Surrounded by locals enjoying themselves and smoking Cuban cigars. Not... More
I was astounded that we were able to go and have drinks and watch the sunset here without a big crowd. I have been a lot of places and this was one of the most beautiful and romantic sunsets I have seen.
They do a great job for this special day Thursday for Pozole in Acapulco. They have a trio and the atmosphere and view are worth the trip to the older part of Acapulco. Alot of history at this Hotel.

We love the view of the Pacific from there and enjoy reading about the movie stars that used to go there in Acapulco's heyday. We've taken a lot of friends there, and they've all enjoyed their meals there. Last year, we finally learned... More
Baldo strikes it right again! <Baldofirstname.lastname@example.org>. Baldo, our taxi/tour guide provided us with a 5 star dinner and and 10 star sunset!. Baldo told us that Pezole Thursday's are a must in Acapulco.. so we had to try it! . The Pezole is a soup that is made from hominy, with chicken or pork. then with red, green or white... More
I absolutely love visiting this hotel and would love to spend a night here at some point. This hotel boasts one of the best views of the open pacific perched over 150'high above the ocean. If your not staying here stop for a cervesa or Margarita and enjoy the rich history of this hotel. The Hollywood wall of fame reflects... More
Went there for a beer, and the sheer cliff views are amazing from table area. Good change from the beaches. The history of the hollywood stars on the wall is also great to see. A real historic sight from the glory days of Acapulco that needs customers so that it can remain a bubble in time. Stop there on the... More
