This was our first time in PV, and we stumbled on this place by accident! Us girls had to use the washroom, and we just happened to be in front of this restaurant, so we went in. Maybe my review is a bit unfair as I did not actually eat in Mi Querencia; I realized too late that it was listed in my Lonely Planet guide as a great place to go for ceviche. The title says it all, in our 20 years of having a timeshare and searching for good restaurants this place absolutely takes the cake. It has a sports-bar feel to it, the food is good and the beer is cold. They make their own tortillas, and have a make-your-own taco bar. Plus it's right on the main drag, facing the Malecon. more

The greatest experience after the rain. When we were in Vallarta it rained on and off for three days, one of those days it started raining when we were walking the malecon, we saw the sign and decided since it was almost dinner time we would stop there to dry and eat. this place was by far the best place i ate at on my trip. our group liked it so much we went there 3 times, and everytime the staff was very welcoming and fun. the food was very great and the atmosphere was great. i definitely recommend this eatery for anyone looking for good food and fun! more
