Gustino is located in the JW Marriott. It is candlelit and feels like a good steakhouse. The service was impeccible, treating adults and children as though they were absolute VIPs. The staff was great. They worked very hard to make it a memorable experience. The lamb and venison were terrific. The desert was great. They gave my wife and daughter roses at the end. more

The restaurant was average at best. I grew up in Boston and now live in the NYC area so I know good Italian food. This place tries to be a Cipriani style restaurant and doesn't even come close. If you want Italian you be better off going elsewhere in Cancun. Even Dolce Vita across the street offered a better experience... more

The service was better than four-diamonds...The food was on par with other 4 diamond restaurants we have been to. The food was excellent and we also appreciated the little "extras" like samples of sorbet, scallops, tuna, and biscotti brought to us throughout our dining experience. We unfortunately were not impressed with our dining experience at Gustino's inside the J.W. Marriott. We had not visited the restaurant since our stay at the hotel in 2005 and was looking forward to a wonderful meal and ambiance alone without our sons.
