We met Adrian the owner in the supermarket. He introduced himself and told us to stop by. We did and were not disappointed. Adrian was the consummate host. Yes, Adrian is El Fuerte Grande, but as we say in English "the proof is in the pudding" . All one needs do is try Especias. The food is the real star in this restaurant. Isla Cozumel abounds with great, natural food choices,and this is one not to be missed. more

Stopped in early right after diving. Missed Adrian and Guitar playing but felt we were catered to since we were the only group. We made a dinner out of the appetizers and soup with Zuccini boats, chorizo and cheese, and pumpkin soup were our favorites. This is now a must do when we return. more
