Don't waste your time going to Starbucks...go to the local coffee shop Ah Cacao and get some delicious coffee and brownies. The service is great and the people watching location too. more

My sister and I visited the Ah Cacao in Playa and got iced lattes. This is a staple item for me here in the states and get from either Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks but this place blew them away!! Thank you very much for your feedback. We put a lot of effort into making all our drinks as good as possible and it's great when somebody notices! The US online store sells the same whole bean coffee we use in our store, which you grind for espresso. Alternatively, you can place a special order for pre-ground coffee. The reason...

I, too, expected some wondrous chocolate place. There was a decent selection - ice cream, cookies, brownies. Since chocolate is my 'food of choice' I got a brownie. My husband and I stopped here to check out their chocolate after reading other reviews about this place. We each tried their ice cream and it was the best we had ever eaten. I do agree with the other reviewers that the brownie was nothing special, but the Mayan Hot Chocolate! Terrific! Spicy, sweet, with a taste of cinnamon and something a bit spicier! I made two trips back just of the Mayan Hot Chocolate. more

My hubby and I stopped in and tried a Mayan hot chocolate and it was amazing. You definitely don't need any bigger than the small size though. The flavor is very strong and has great spice. Loved it! more
