My boyfriend and I visited Alex Cave, and we thought it was great. The atmosphere was wonderful. The prices were a little expensive, however we thought the food was good. We both got steak dinners. The service was very good as well. Alcohol was a little pricey. We payed $75 for two steaks, dessert, and one crown and coke. We... more

This place is nasty! Do you remember what the elephant house at zoo smells like? There is no ventilation. The food is gross. I had shrimp and it was old. The shrimp was bad it had a very fishy smell and was very mushy. The staff was very nice and the cave is cool. Just don't get more than pictures... more

I have never been to a restaurant as unique as this one. I will say something like this in California would probably be illegal because of all our strict codes. The maze of tunnels and pathways was awesome, they have lighted the place very well to catch the stalagmites. The food was OK not awesome but good, the prices were... more

I love caves, so the idea of sipping a cocktail in one, well, I couldn't resist. We didn't eat here, but plenty of people were in the restaurant section. We walked through the hallways (tunnels?). There were several cave rooms with a table for a private party and I thought what a great occasion that would be with a bunch... more

We heard a mention of this restaurant/lounge in another review and we decided to try it out. What a wonderful experience. The restaurant was easy to locate. The place is an actual cave with paths to follow to other sections of the restaurant. The food was excellent. Our server, Martin, was knowledgeable and friendly. We liked all the food so... more

What a treat to find something off the beaten path that although touristy was still great. We eat at upscale restaurants and found this to be excellent. I always ask what is popular on the menu and get that and was not disappointed. The flambe dessert was another special surprise. There was a free, live Mayan dance show and live... more

I would recommend touring or going for drinks. I would not recommend eating there. The food wasn't bad, but the portions were quite small and pricey. more

My husband and I plus another couple went to this amazing restaurant on our last night of our trip and are so glad we did! We took a taxi there and descended into a wonderland cave transformed into a restaurant! Amazing! Shortly after our 5 star meals, we were asked by a gentleman if we would like a tour. This... more
