Hidden Gem. They don’t even have a sign that’s how remote it is. We loved it this way. Local wibes. Not owercrowded. Used google map to walk up to it. Very good authentic sushi. Yummm.

went on a recommendation from a fellow traveller. Sat at the sushi bar. About half of the Nigiris sushi selections on the menu were not available. Food was above average - not great.. Had 5 pieces locally sourced fish nigiri. Prawn tempura. One hamachi sashimi...plate - 6 pieces and very thinly sliced. Also one beer. Tariff was $120 USD. Ridiculous. Left hungry. I've dined at Michelin star Japanese restaurants with Japanese Chef's for less money and better/ greater quantity food. The kicker... Chef's did not know I speak Spanish. Inappropriate banter in front of customers.More
Amazing local sushi with a Mexican flair, top quality choices. Off the beaten path but worth finding - sabrosa 👍
Just average... If you're used to sushi in the SF Bay Area or NYC, you will be highly disappointed. On the plus side, the edamame was a delicious Mexican twist on the dish, and the Teriyaki Bowl was better than at home. However, the main...even - the sushi - was bland and did not have the subtle buttery Salmon flavors my wife was craving. The cost to yummy factor was also way off - way too expensive for what we got. I'd suggest you stick to Mexican Restaurants or look elsewhere if you must have sushi.More
The place used to be amazing, now I know why it is not as crowded as it used to be. The food is good, the fish is fresh, but the staff do not want to be there working and you can notice, bad welcome they...were talking and laughing super hard as if they were in a bar, it is the staff not the clients. Its not that they have to be quiet but they made us feel as if we were interrupting their party. We were seated at the bar even though we didn’t ask for the omakase which is ok, but the guys serving had 0 service manners talking between the. They just put the dood in front not saying anything, it is a bit hard to describe but they made us feel so uncomfortable that we ate super fast and leave. This place was really good l, but now Cabo has other places as good or better so not coming back to this. ShameMore
We loved this restaurant would be an understatement. We went there based on a recommendation and loved it so much we went there twice! They use all freshly caught local seafood that just tastes so amazing. Some highlights were the mango tuna roll and truffle...salmon nigiri. Reservations are highly recommended since they are busy, even though it is not the cheapest food, it is one of the best places you can get authentic sushi for the money outside of Japan.More
Amazing selection, omakase, and good drink courtesy of Memo, who makes the yearly pilgrimage to Japan to hone his skills and deliver an unparalleled authentic sushi experience here in Cabo (they literally were dropping off fresh caught tuna straight from the ocean while we were...dining).More
Sushi was excellent! The tuna and salmon was so fresh! Service was great and fast. Can’t wait to go back.
The truffles salmon sashimi is the best! Each time we go there I order it. It's all fresh and tasty. Tuesday is the best day to go, they get the fresh catch delivered. Even the yakimeshi is amaxing in flavor an the portions are large...enough Don't miss their signature Mezcal, just delicious.More
I have been a regular for three years. As they grew in fame and size the food has declined but still fairly good. However, yesterday I had a most terrible experience. I was a walk-in and one of the only two occupied tables in the...restaurant. My girlfriend is a vegan and I got my food first. By the time I was finished eating, I asked (nicely) about her food. The owner overheard me and cut in to say in a very rude manner that the other table had a reservation, so they had priority in serving. They lost me.More
I have been going to this place since 2006 more or less I’ve seen it grow and I definitely think it is the best sushi place in town. Chef Memo has an incredible menu with a lot of options even for vegetarians. I recommend the...shiitake soup and the surfer roll those are my favorites!! Plus he has a really good option called box lunches and you get to pick which one you want they come with the salad is soup a rule in a mean plate all for a great price!! I am a loyal client and will be coming back for more.More
We had heard about Chef Memo Reyes and decided to try his restaurant. It doesn't have much signage and you might pass it by if you didn't know to look for it. We felt welcome as soon as we stepped inside. We were able to...meet Chef Memo before ordering. The staff was very helpful as well. There are two sides to the restaurant, and we went to the right side where there is a sushi bar but this is not where the food is actually prepared (I guess that is on the left hand side). Nevertheless, our sushi was outstanding. We can honestly say that was the freshest raw fish we've ever had! The Hamachi sashimi was our favorite. We also had the tuna mango roll and the rainbow roll, all delicious, in addition to a mixed sashimi and a tuna sashimi. Oh, almost forgot the gyozas, they were amazing, so fresh, a nice spicy flavor. We will definitely return. Next time I think we'll try the other side of the restaurant. Thanks Chef Memo!More
Excellent cuts of sashimi, amazing soups, yum sushi, and some of it is fresh from the nearby sea, caught daily! Go for it! Casual Environment
Strange evening at the faux sushi bar, not sure what the thought behind the disjointed mix and match, go left for chefs choice or go right for the menu room? Fish is good and fresh, staff is confused, there is no real sushi bar in...the menu room and we are looking for a new favorite place. That sums up our 8 year relationship and demonstrates that change is not always better. Sorry.More
I don't think I've ever had such fresh sushi in my life. The flavors and textures were great and you could tell it was fish from that very day. The staff very friendly and knowledgeable, explained the menu and gave great suggestions. The chef is...at the bar and you can see how he makes the food, even if you choose from the menu (it's in a different section of the restaurant) you can see the chef cooking through a live cam. Don't miss the mango tuna and the caterpillar roll!More
