Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Enchiladas Lolitas had very little chicken and no flavor. The red sauce tasted like tomato paste. We will not go back

Great selection of regional dishes and specialities, not the usual taco/quesadillas menu sou find everywhere (of course, you get the Mexican evergreens as well). Laid back location a few minutes from downtown. Highly recommended!

This restaurant is a very well hidden gem in Cabo. Attentive service and very tasty food with average prices for Cabo would earn it four stars, but the freshly-made guacamole at the table knocks this into the five-stars range. When in Rome, do as the...Romans do; when in Mexico - proper guacamole! There's a particular experience to truly fresh ingredients blended before you and to your liking. The area is quiet enough to not disturb you with excessive tourist noise, so a dinner out at Lolitas can be enjoyed fully. Really recommended.More

One of our favorite spots in Cabo! Our party of eight ate both breakfast and dinner here while on vacation. The food is delicious, the margaritas are massive and made with fresh squeezed oranges (as are glasses of OJ for kids) and the atmosphere is...wonderfully laid back. Please give them a visit, you won't regret it!More

We stopped by Lolita’s four our first breakfast in Cabo and were not disappointed. I had the Huevos Rancheros that came with either fresh orange juice or coffee and my wife had the large fruit platter. Both portions were generous and tasty. The fruit was...perfectly ripe. Service was friendly and prompt and the entire bill came to US$ 10. What a great find in Cabo.More

A great restaurant off the beaten path. Super professional waiter. The absolute best guacamole I have ever tasted. The margaritas are awesome. Venture a short distance from the marina chaos and try this restaurant. You won’t regret it. The mole poblano was unforgettable.

I found out about Lolita's totally by accident. I happened to be staying at the Don Juan hotel directly across the street from Lolita's. What a bonus to have a restaurant of this quality in the neighborhood! The family has been in the business in...one form or another for over 50 years! This is why all the locals come here. Lolita and her husband Bano were the proud parents of 11 kids! The restaurant as you know it has been at this location since 1999. Lolita's is famous for menudo, pozole, birria and cocido res. Soups simmer for over 6 hours on Saturday afternoon and are available for sale late Sunday morning. Not to be missed! In addition, I would highly recommend the tortilla soup & sea bass dishes. Alfredo, the owner, is genuinely committed to this beautiful, quaint restaurant. Alondra and Jasmine share chef duties. The kitchen is quite impressive for a restaurant that has only 8 tables. Reservations are suggested but not required. Lolita's serves breakfast, lunch & dinner. They are open 7am to 10pm nightly with the exception of Wednesdays. Lolita's accepts Visa & Mastercard. There is free street parking. No valet. Lolita's has a full bar and some exceptional wines from Italy, Chile and the United States. The staff is outstanding...both the kitchen crew and the servers. They always seem to make you feel special.More

Well worth the walk a few blocks from center of Cabo. This restaurant serves the best hand squeezed margarita you will ever have. The food is authentic and delicious. Order the pozole! Inviting and sweet staff. Can’t wait to go back.

We've been to Cabo a number of times and this is the first we've found Lolita's. It's our new favorite! We had a group of six, and we were all blown away. The service was friendly, the beers were cold, and the food was fresh...and simply delicious. Each of us ordered something different, and we could not have been more satisfied with our choices. A great place with excellent atmosphere as well.More
