We went looking for a particular NFL game on Sunday morning. A number of places had games but not what we wanted to watch. Some tried but that game wasn’t available. The Patio Choyero in the Marina had 3 games on & we asked if...they could put the Beats/Lions game on one of the screens. They had it on in less than a minute. Since they had 2 for 1 drinks (which were very good - margaritas) we stayed for 2 games. They even asked us what game we wanted to watch after the Bears/Lions game ended. The chips & salsa were very good & it’s the first place with hot, spicy flavorful salsa. The pico de Gallo was also very good. My husband also order a couple other bar snacks, which he enjoyed. The service was excellent by the staff. They were pleasant, courteous, friendly & helpful. They helped me with my broken Spanish & also spoke English very well. Really a nice find!More

After catching a 35-pound yellow tail, our boat crew filleted it and took us (and the fillets) straight over to Patio y Choyero where Daniel took our fresh catch and cooked it four different ways for us. Thank you Daniel for the delicious fish you...prepared for us!! Great memories were made here.More

My "esposo" and I were walking the Cabo San Lucas marina sidewalks for some exercise four days ago. There are so many interesting and attractive places that can tempt you into "interrupting" a walk!.We decided to go into El Patio as it is small and...quaint with nice big rocking chairs in the front facing the marina boat slips. We sat inside, but facing out behind the rocking chairs. (They were all occupied.) Their sign outside advertised a Happy Hour (surprise!, how unusual!) We opted for Tequila Sunrise, "two for one" price. It came to about $4.00 US apiece. It was worth it. They were served in mason jars that had handles. The spot we sat at was a long beautiful polished piece of wood carved from a tree. It was fun doing some people watching. The waitress was very friendly, and gave us a food menu "just in case" we wanted to eat. I had to look at it ---for future reference--- and of course, ended up ordering a chicken taco. They mention on the menu that it takes awhile for the food as it is made fresh. Well, it was fresh on a delicious warm soft tostada, with a side of fresh guacmole, and a spicy salsa. The size was bigger than a street taco. The chicken had been marinated and was delicious. It was $3 US. I would definitely go back to try this place for a meal.More

This restaurant is on the far side of the Marina to the left. We stopped to look at the menu and as we did an owner of a fishing boat started talking to us about how good this place was so we tried it. He...actually sells his fish to them. The only fish they had was tuna which my wife and I weren't too thrilled about ordering but we did it any way. We started with some pico and guacamole which were very good. 5 beers for $10 were also very good. We had the tuna blackened which we thought was a little dry. We also tried one order deep fried with coconut. I thought this was much better. Both portions were very large so we had enough to take home. Very good service. Prices were reasonable. Other than only one choice of fish on this night, we enjoyed our visit.More

We went fishing and the captain told us this place to take our fish and they would cook for you. They did blackened tuna tacos the best we ever had. The seasoning was delicious and the homemade salsa was very good. Next time you want...your fish cooked take it here to have them cook for you it was $8.00 a person!! Will go here again the next time in Cabo!!More

We stopped in at the El Patio Choyero last night. This happened to be the night Brian Flynn was playing his guitar. Talk about an expected treat! The man has some mad skills, and his keyboard player is no slouch. This is a return trip...for us. We also visited in November of 2016 and enjoyed a great meal. We had dropped off the Mahi Mahi caught earlier in the day. The food was excellent. I highly recommend this one for fresh caught and cooked. They have some great pool tables in the back section. The owner is upgrading the furnishings. Absolutely love the tables. And the awesome rocking chairs out front are hand crafted pieces of art. Try this place when next in Cabo. You will not be disappointed. And tell Mickey the bartender that the folks from Idaho said hi.More

This was a great spot for a drink, I highly recommend the Margarita’s… Delish! We searched high and low for a place that served an authentic Margarita’s (on the rock’s) that weren’t overpriced or sweet…. This place delivered 

We stopped at this place twice during our stay and were not disappointed. It was actually a recommendation from a local. Cheap beer and big portions. We had everything from wings to burritos to chips and guac to tacos. All was delicious. Staff was fun...and attentive. It's a definite must do when by the Marina.More

We popped into this hotspot after our booze cruise (all 11 bachelorette party girls) and it was a great time! They let us request the music, we had some yummy drinks and appetizers, and the staff was so nice and fun! The view of the...marina is great and it's open front makes for good people watching! It's got a divey-chill vibe. A few of us even came back for dinner the next night and the food was delicious! The bartender made me a fresh margarita with hand squeezed limes. I definitely recommend trying El Patio Choyero on your next trip to Cabo!More

The servers in this place are a kick in the pants. The food is fresh and reasonably priced. We ate fish tacos and tuna serrinito and it was served with cucumber and onion. Very good. This will be a go to place from now on...when inn Cabo. You know the seafood is fresh when the restaurant has its own fishing boats.More

We decided to stop here for a margarita while walking around the marina. This is a really nice laid-back bar/ restaurant. All of the employees here are very nice and the bartender makes great margaritas. Their prices are quite reasonable. While we were there we...met Casey, the business manager. Casey was very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable of Cabo San Lucas and talked us in to renting one of El Patio Choyero’s cruisers for the day. The next day we went on “Top Gun”, one of their 33-foot cruisers. It was just me and my wife plus Casey, Charro (the captain of Top Gun), the first mate and a fishing guide. We were on the cruiser from 8:00am until 4:00pm. It was really great sightseeing, fishing, and just relaxing on the water. We caught five nice sized fish which were cleaned and filleted on the boat. El Patio Choyero kept the fish in their cooler and prepared them for dinner the next few nights for us at a nominal charge. I highly recommend El Patio Choyero and their cruiser “Top Gun”.More

There are so many great restaurants and bars in Cabo, I would definitely choose a different one. I had a disappointing experience at this bar. First of all, we were encouraged by a man on the marina to come to this bar as it had...the best drinks, etc. He then said the specials listed on the advertising board out front were 2-4-1. The bartender confirmed this; therefore, we ordered off the specials list. The bartender then finished his shift and a female bartender came on. When it was time to leave, the check arrived with the drinks being full price. Apparently, not all of the drinks on the specials board were 2-4-1. We obviously explained what we were told to the female bartender, particularly as that was the reason we went there (so many other great places on the marina with good drink specials), she basically would not listen to us and wouldn't change the price. She also stated that she called the first bartender to refute what we said. Ft or us it was not about the cost, it was the principal and the way we were treated. We felt taken advantage of. I'm extremely disappointed and would never go to an establishment with such poor business practices, such as false advertisement, arguing with a customer, etc. A good experience until this, which totally ruined it for us.More
