We frequent Joey's often and have never had a bad meal. The service is great and the food is always good. It can be difficult to get a table on the weekend but it is worth the wait.
A 'hole-in-the-wall' restaurant in a strip mall across from McMahon Stadium. Basic furnishings but a nice aquarium, friendly service, reasonable prices, great food, and a 'free' dessert.
Wanted to go to Saigon Y2K across the way but it's shut on Mondays. We were trapped in our hotel so ordered fish and chips which we make at home quite regularly. Our homemade recipe involves fresh fish in a beer batter which is terrific. We make our own mushy peas too. Our chips are always done beautifully - but... More
I went to this restaurant because it was within walking distance of my hotel. I wanted something quick and something I could take back to my room. I ordered fish and chips and three average pieces of fish, fried of course. It came with a large order of french fries. I received the extra tartar sauce that I asked for.... More

Everything was only so-so. Hence I found that the chef was simply another person. I wonder if the management has also been changed...

Joey's signature calamari is basically deep-fried tender rings of squid coated with special seasoned batter with a light sprinkle of spice, and is served with seafood sauce. Sounds simple, but not every chef knows how... More
It is okay.
If you want great fish and chips visit Joey's. The batter is light and crispy and a lot less greasy than other fish and chip shops.
