Great sandwiches and sides and prepared foods along with baked goods, gourmet food selections and more. Don't forget to check out the culinary classes.
We have eaten here a few times and each time we have been impressed. The food is outstanding, and the sandwiches are amazing. I have had the Chicken Mayo with anchovies twice and it is a great combo. The setting, the food and the overall feel is great here, you will love it!
Signed our group up for a teambuilding class that ran 4 hours. Great experience that allowed the group to interact and pretend we were master chef contestants. Menus were complicated but do-able and there's work for everyone in the group from prepping to plating. Plus we got to eat what we created. Looking forward to recreating my classwork at home.
We had a superb experience with a group of colleagues, very well taught at the cooking school level with a nice setting for devouring our creations. Would recommend to a group of fun loving food enthusiasts. Very enjoyable.
For a very reasonable price, Dirty Apron will prepare the most amazing food for your dinner party. I ordered Moroccan lamb shanks which came with Moroccan couscous, a veggie ratatouille and a yogurt dip. When I picked up the order, it was wonderfully presented in white oven-ready bake ware (which needs to be returned). My guests raved about the delicious... More
My friend and I went to Dirty Apron's vegetarian cooking session. Three courses were demonstrated, appetizer, pasta and dessert. After each demonstration we went to our shared station and implemented the recipe and techniques we'd just seen, while our instructor and his assistant went around checking that we were doing it right. After each dish was made, we sat down... More
this was a fun night of cooking really tasty food. I think that our class french inspired, but I cna't remember! We made lovely fish and beef and dessert- it was almost too much to eat. Really nice facilities, the chef was great with both those who needed more help and for those who didn't he kind of upped the... More
The Dirty Apron Cooking School (part of Chambar Restaurant) is an experience one does not soon forget. You are walked through a course of food being shown step-by-step how to create, make and plate. Then you go to your station (everyone has their own and share a stove) and your ingredients are waiting for you and away you go. All... More
Consistently amazing, every time. The Dirty Apron 'Deli' is next to the Dirty Apron Cooking School, which is next to Medina Cafe (easily the best brunch in Vancouver but be prepared to wait), all housed in a gorgeous old building. They, along with Chambar, one of Vancouver's most celebrated restaurants, are part of a husband and wife mini-empire of incredible... More
This hybrid cooking school/cafe provides some fresh and affordable grub! They have several sandwiches freshly made in front of you, as well as a few salads to choose from. We had the Montreal Smoked Meat and the Pulled Pork sandwich, with a roasted brussel sprout salad. Everything was delicious! Tables are set in a communal fashion - great place to... More
