My friend and I went to Maurya for the first time and without a doubt we will be back. The food is delicious, the staff knowledgeable. They look after you well there.
Seriously so surprised to find this Restaurant via Groupon! Such amazing food and such amazing value. We cannot wait to go back! The service was great the Vegetable Frazi was amazing and the Butter Chicken to die for. Even the Samosa's were great! We were a table of 4 and were surprised at the comfortable and nice environment. Definitely will... More
I was hesitant to go back here - I hadn't been for a few years, & the recent reviews aren't great. However, it was as great as I remembered from a few years ago. The service was amazing, they even offered to recook EVERY dish if one person was concerned about shellfish contamination. (& It was fast the first time!)... More
This could be my go to place but the prices are to steep and there are plenty of other more reasonably priced Indian food joints nearby. However, that being said the food is great and the service is attentive.
Absolutely terrible experience - wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The first dish brought to our table was a meat dish which came undercooked (completely red inside), and when we brought to our waitress's attention she was incredibly rude about it...turns out she was actually the owner. The service was terrible, each dish came separately with long waits in between and... More
Worst customer service. Food was poor service was slow. Dishes arrived at different times. They said they would take my coupon and then did not on completing the meal.
i visited the restaurant April this year and was disappointed. The drinks took a long time and the "free" papadums came mid way through our meal after complaining to the wait staff a few times. We ordered the mussels with a naan for our appetizers (recommended on the menu). We received the mussels without the naan which took another 6 minutes to... More
I don't like writing bad reviews, but we were very disappointed by this restaurant. The decor is lovely, but the food falls very flat. We tried the shrimp appetizer, chicken pakoras, lamb korma, lamb rogan josh, chicken tikka marsala, and their special chicken dish (I've forgotten the name but it won some award). Everything was bland, and lacked the spices... More
We went to Maurya Indian Restaurant as it was a participating restaurant in the Vancouver Dine Out program. We were treated to a set menu...it was good. In essence it was a tasting sampler menu...to give the customers a sampling of the regular menu. The good ol' reliable is there.. butter chicken with a side of na'an bread. Always good.... More
5 of us arrived for lunch at 1:00 pm on a Tuesday. The place was empty. The buffet was half empty and what was there was dried out and awful. The service was non-existent, we had to ask for drinks and even get up to pour our own water. Certainly NOT worth the price of $15.00 (approx). As we left... More
