If you're into giving away your money for nothing, go to Tojo's! Beware, especially, of the much-hyped omakase menu -- six appetizers, then only three pieces of sushi per person, a slice each of four rolls -- and the sushi rice is cold -- then the check! This restaurant doesn't deserve its good reputation, and anyone who recommends it has... more

Yes, it is expensive - but the food was awesome. Tojo's is clearly where the scene is at - the people were the movers and shakers of Vancouver. If you love paying for high quality sushi, Tojo's is for you. more

If you have tasted real Japanese cuisine, you may be disappointed by the fish (sashimi ) variety and lack of real Japanese dishes at Tojo. I disgree with simply FRESH being a compliment, fresh fish is a norm. All sashimi fish are basically local, did not see any fresh fish from Japan. I love Nobu, and I love Shiro. However, my dinner at Tojo was magical. The casual surroundings combined with the beautiful view and the best omakase presentation I've had. I can't wait to go back. more
