Best place to sit is at the bar... great vegetarian options for tapas and quick service. Reservations a must on weekends. Service suffers on the weekend -- midweek much quieter. A great find. more

It was like I found a hidden place in the alley. :) We were supposed to do tapa-hopping like bar-hopping, so we ordered only 3 tapas. But it was enough to fill our stomach so that we couldn't go to next place. I loved Fried oysters and smoked chicken breast. Try. (Visited on May 2009, reviewed on Nov 2009) more

This seemd to be very popular and lively so we stopped here for lunch, sitting outside, and again on another evening sitting inside, since it was near our hotel. The food was interesting, some items better than others, but all pretty good. Nice location and good service. more

We checked out the menu of the Tapa Bar while on vacation in Victoria. We didn't have a reservation, but they seated our party of 5 anyhow. We were all able to find something to eat on the menu, even given our dietary needs-allergies and vegetarianism/veganism. We had pizzas as well as a fish dish and a pasta dish. Everything... more

The Tapa Bar definately has a nice ambience and was full last night (Sunday). We enjoyed a few of the dishes - the eggplant, and the calamari were very good. However the soup and the chorizo were extremely salty. Overall not bad but probably not deserving of the rating it has. more

We are so glad we chose the Tapa Bar to celebrate a special occasion! It was an unforgettable evening. Absolutely perfect. The ambience...the food...the location...the service...excellent! We ordered one tapa at a time, and savoured each bite...our favorite was the prawns chipotle. We look forward to another fantastic meal here the next time we are in Victoria! more

Headed to The Tapa Bar for a Sunday evening light meal. Had several small plates including a chile relleno that should not be missed. The white sangria was delicious and the service was outstanding. more

I enjoy sitting on the patio on a nice day in Trounce Alley, off the beaten path in downtown Victoria. My two dining experiences here have been wonderful, with each tapa having a unique and delicious flavour. Service was good as well, and the inside space looks trendy and inviting. I use my Entertainment card to get 25% off once... more

A true gem in a great city. A waitress at a nearby establishment recommended this place, initally the inside seating wait was fourty minutes; however we braved the cold and sat outside (they have heated outside seating). The sangria is a delight and we ordered the tappas for two which was reasonably priced at 45.00 CND. The waitress we had... more
