We've been twice, once for drinks only and that was fine. We also went once for dinner during the height of the season (between Xmas and NY) and found the place astoundingly empty. We were seated next to a piano player and as we don't like sitting close to a piano klimpering away, we asked to be reseated, which we... more

Staying at the Four Seasons, we thought we could count on the concierge for dinner suggestions as in our experience they have been reliable. We were told Bearfoot was top notch, as well as Rimrock, just different vibes. So we went with the 'showier' of the two and made a reservation at Bearfoot. Let me pause and just note that... more

We were very impressed with the level of service received at Bearfoot Bistro. Our waiter was attentive to all our needs (food allergies, car service, etc.). The trollyologist was an added bonus with her offererings of drinks, cheese, and the demonstration of nitro (liquid nitrogen) ice cream. We could even view Chef Melissa and the workings of her large and... more

This place is the most over-rated rip-off in Whistler. Hubby and I went twice, two years apart. First time hubby wanted to try a specific dish. They'd run out. He enjoyed his meal, I found mine rather bland. Quite pricey. Second time, two years later, we returned and, guess what, they'd 'run out' of the specific dish again. I looked... more

Turboca said it all in the previous review, except during Christmas/New Years peak week, the three course dinner was $128 and they still had all kinds of extra charges on most items. Very good food, but unless you are REALLY into food, I don't think it was nearly worth the price (I think Rimrock, Axria, and Hy's were all better... more

Bearfoot Bistro has wonderful food. It is fresh, inventive and playful. They also offer everything you'd expect from the best of the best- champage or martinis tableside while you peruse the menu, amuse bouche, palate cleansers, the works. The king crab trio with soy pop rocks was by far the most uniquely delightful thing I've tasted in a while. My... more

great experience from going to the cellar, sabering a bottle of champagne, to a bespoke menu by the chef(melissa craig) and wine pairings by the sommelier. Excellent, unobtrusive service and amazing food/wine. Lovely casual atmosphere as well, fitting in with Whistler. more

We went for special occasions while in Whistler. A wonderful dining experience. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Two of our party had oysters and the "oyster specialist" came out to describe the oysters on the plate. There was no request they could not have filled, they are there to please the customer. The evening was wonderful and we... more

Wow, wow, wow!! What a fabulous experience. Dined here solo, at a great table. The restaurant has a hip decor without being intimidating. The kitchen is open and it was fun to watch the chefs working their magic. I started with the spring greens salad with poached pear, goat cheese hazelnut dressing, and sunflower seeds. The pear was absolutely amazing.... more
