Eat light or split a sandwich with a friend so you have room for a yummy dessert! I had an OK cheeseburger and fries (I'm from Texas and my burger standards are high), so I had room for Crazy Chocolate Cake: a tall layering of chocolate cake, chocolate cheesecake, chocolate mousse, more chocolate cake, and chocolate ganache icing. We came upon this restaurant on accident. We're so glad! Pseudo- '50s diner look going on but in a contemporary esoteric area. Great food. Great looking desserts. Tasty coffee drinks. Decent prices (esp with the exchange). And, it's always busy, which says something. In the end: fun, good food, great atmosphere, good service. more

The best desserts ever with very plentiful portions for reasonable prices. Their cheesecakes are delicious but their tortes are the reason I visit (the cinnamon torte is TO DIE FOR!). If you have a sweet tooth this is the place for you. Casual sit down diner. Typical North American fare also offered (burgers and fries). more

They have the BEST variety of cheesecakes in Winnipeg. Freshly baked in-house, they're the best cheesecake you'll find in this city. Types: oreo strawberry mocha ...to name a few more

Every time I go to Winnipeg, my must-do afternoon is shopping on Osbourne, followed by cheesecake at Baked Expectations. It's such a fun place to go -- if you have time for lunch, their sandwiches and fries aren't bad too! more
