Been here a few times, now. Most guests take the buffet, for dinner. Food quality is good. Dessert portions could be a bit larger, but you can take as many as you want, so not a big deal. Naan bread is a la carte, so that's a bit odd, but whatever. Biggest disappointment was that they were out of all... more

Good if you want a safe choice of interesting but not too unusual indian curries and other dishes. Someone who's been to India or England (like me in both cases!) would be satisfied and even find some nice surprises here. The only hiccups were the wine list is more of a low-cost list, without great choices but a decent couple... more
A great place to eat, either a meal or the great buffet. Excellent cuisine with great service and a nice atmosphere. Parking during the day may be a bit problematic but on weekends no problem. more
Sumptuous buffet, including desserts! Consistently delicious and friendly service too. If you like Indian food go for a special occasion...you won't be disappointed! more
awesome indian food tons of options tons of pickles, salad, meats, in the buffet line the nan bread is made fresh for you and unbelievable wash it down with a glass of mango lacee (?) amazing. more
East India had a SUPERB buffet. A tad on the spendy side ($20), so make sure you come hungry...very, very hungry. The food will fill you up quickly! Clean, great food, great atmosphere, free parking across the street after 5 p.m. more
The buffet is huge and the quality if bar none the best in town. There is no way that you will find better Indian food in Winnipeg. more
