By far the most overrated and overprice restaurant in Yellowknife. A dated menu and poor execution and quality. The only thing going for it are the servers. Important note, Chef Pierre also does food for Le Frolic, Wildcat Cafe, the airport and catering all of which are equally poor quality and overprice. more
For the price you pay, I would expect perfection - but it is all just a little too ordinary. I have always ordered a steak or game meat (e.g. cariboo) and what comes out is meat and vegetables with a basic sauce more
I have been here two or three times - last was in July 2008. While not the 'best' restaurant in Yellowknife in terms of food, it is certainly the most upper class. With immaculate service, huge selection of drinks, spirits and wines, and comfortable warm atmosphere makes it feel like you could be anywhere in Europe instead of just south... more
