Pictures of pigs adorn the old stone walls. English lit profs down drinks at the bar. The music is hot, the conversation enlightened and the menu a tribute to a talented kitchen selecting the best of local produce. Main courses are invariably excellent; desserts to die for. Once you've sampled the Chez Piggy fare, you'll be hooked for life. more

Delicious food. There were 5 of us (2 adults, 3 kids - 12, 14, and 17). Ate in the outdoor patio (great way to end a busy day). We ordered three different salads, and 4 different entrees (my 17 year old just ordered more appetizers) so we could sample lots of things. I had the special (seafood linguini – yum!).... more

We've been eating here for years and have never been disappointed. Love the food, the service and the atmosphere. If you are looking for fresh, interesting and well prepared food go here. If you want a platter of fat and starch go elsewhere. more

Dining outdoors, we had the 'Lyon' chicken piccata -- tender and tasty, modest portion. Menu had a lot of exotic seafood dishes, one chicken and one ribeye. Our 'split' meal was handled haphazardly. Bar next door is noisy; this is not a romantic place. Each table had a tea candle. Soups and entree were served hot. Rather pricey, even overpriced.... more

If the weather is right, and you don't mind paying for a romantic spot. then I'd recommend Chez Piggy. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. We had the Seafood Chowder. Pate, and some great wine. more

Even though I've lived in the Kingston area for over 20 years I had never been to Chez Piggy but on its reputation went the weekend of Jan 17 2009. The restaurant, decor is dated and crowded. The interior is tired and below average - all 6 of our meals were disappointing and even the items that went to other tables didn't look appealing.
