We used to love Julia's as well. The service and food were fantastic; wtih great ambiance. However since opening her new restaurant in Milton; Julia has poached her head chef and much of the staff for the new location. We've been dining in Downtown Oakville on and off for a number of years, and there are a select few places that have been consistently good experiences, and of those we always find Julia to be the best! We tried this restaurant for the second time. First time was terrible but we figured give Julias a second chance.We ordered the duck which was inedible. We sent it back and the chef agreed. Gave new meaning to the term "rubber duckie". Service was at best indifferent. So many great restaurants in downtown Oakville don't waste your money here. more
