This is a very nice restaurant in the heart of the old town. The steaks are superb. My fillet mignon was perfectly cooked, tender, and tasty. And all served by helpful friendly staff.

This restaurant has the best grilled steak ever since it's their specialty. I got to taste also the grilled chicken, which tastes amazing as well, and very tender. We visited Montreal to celebrate our fortieth wedding anniversary. Fortunately we decided to dine at the Vieux-Port Steakhouse for dinner Saturday evening. Everyone was friendly and made us feel quite welcome, but Monosh, our waiter, and the Sommelier were incredibly kind and attentive. The food was delicious and the extra care made for a most enjoyable and memorable dining experience!
Even on a busy Saturday night, the service was excellent, fast and efficient. The food was amazing, everything was perfect! Manager is also very hands-on and takes personal care of the costumers. Bravo! Definitely going back and recommending this restaurant to everybody.
