We stopped at Baked while visiting Whitehorse. The coffee was great and the muffin fresh and tasty. Nice place to warm up on a cold day and meet some of the locals.
This is my choice for food in Whitehorse.... Coffee too. Living summers in nearby Skagway facilitates a grocery run to Whitehorse every 3 weeks. We leave early enough to be able to sample the best scones in the free world... Hands down. Try the spelt scones... Ridiculous . Great panini sandwiches. The place is always busy but the line moves... More
The last 3x I've passed through Whitehorse (2009, 2011, 2013) I ensure that I stop here. The pastry case is always full and better or equal to any bakery in Chicago, NY or even Paris. Excellent coffee, good staff, good prices. Always busy as far as I can tell.
Great Café with excellent coffee/tea --vibrant surroundings with wonderful art work on display--friendly staff ! Very busy which says a lot --highly recommend .
Only once have I been here and not seen a scone without berries. Same thing everyday really. Overrated and overpriced.
We came here to pick up a couple of sandwiches for the road, after standing in the line we also picked up some cookies, an Outrageous Ginger ale and a coffee. They person at the till was knowledgeable and quick. It did take awhile to have our sandwiches toasted. The place was busy.
I would say this is the best spot for breakfast in Whitehorse. Their breakfast Panini is delicious and chai lattes are wonderful. Very much a locals place where staff and customers are warm and extremely friendly. There wasn’t a spot to sit when we first arrived and two locals got up and asked us to join them. Ended up chatting... More
Excellent any time of day! Owner is often present which says a lot about the care of the place in general! Go for breakfast, lunch or a snack anytime. They open at 07:00 Beats all the other coffee shops :)
One of the first places we visited in Whitehorse and I keep coming back every time. Fresh baked goods, awesome coffee and service with a smile.
This local coffee house has a professional appearance. I was certain it was part of a chain but no it stands alone and does a excellent job! Baked goods were all delicious. Coffees was good too! We were in Whitehorse for 4 days and ate there three times!
