In the sea of fast food restaurants in South Lake Tahoe, the sushi and maki rolls at the Naked Fish are good alternative. However, the ambiance of the restaurant is reminiscent of a roadside diner and the service is non-existent, as the waiter forgot to bring even the utensils. more

The quality of the sushi was probably better than we had in Japan, and the staff could not have been friendlier. It is by far our favorite restaurant in the Tahoe area. more

We are considered "locals" and we go in atleast once a week- The fish is fresh and the service is amazing, our son is 4 now and they cater to children, with dishes like mac and cheese, We craved their barb-b-q albacore the whole time we lived in Costa rica. We love good sushi and this was one of our families favorites (we are tough critics too). We ordered 10 different rolls and all were excellent. I looked at other tripadvisor reviews and found only negative comments about the wait/service but we had no problem getting in with a party of 6. Save room for dessert...they are great too. more
