We enjoyed our two breakfasts at Driftwood. The servers are very friendly and do a good job. The food itself is good, though my hashbrowns were only luke warm. The omllettes were excellent. We have eaten breakfast at Driftwood Cafe twice and love it. The staff is very friendly and attentive. My coffee never gets half empty before they are there to fill it up. The food is delicious and the portions are very generous. So far we have enjoyed everything we have eaten there and can't wait to go back again! more

During our stay in So. Lake Tahoe we enjoyed two meals at the Driftwood. For our lunch time visit we enjoyed huge cheeseburgers, cooked to perfection and topped with our own choice of toppings. Great service, good food, great variety. Parking is not easy but there are other places to go before or after eating. Lunch and breakfast is all good, the staff is very nice and gives great service. more

You will not beat the food here. I read the other reviews regarding service and did not have those issues. Maybe they are gone. We had a great meal after stumbling upon this restaurant. more

I thought this was excellent for a cafe type meal. It was a bit pricey about $50 for lunch. The portions were big. My youngest ordered off the kids menu and the hot dog was jumbo sized.
