Whilst the quality and choice of food is good, I have found the service to be slow and dissinterested on several occasions which has spoilt the experience. More

We have just got back from visiting The Fat Goose. We were dissapointed, in the Sunday Roast. Which was was served in a bown, and not a plate. Also with Gravy, which tasted and smelt like Stew! More

Spent a lovely New Years Eve with family and friends at the Fat Goose. Amazed at the quality of the food considering mass catering and the ability to choose on the night. The service was excellent. The music was ok and improved as the night went on and nobody complained about our bad dad dancing! All in all a success... More

On the 1st Wed of the month this great restaurant holds a pudding club, choice of 2 or 3 small main courses then all laid out on a table are up to 12 sweets, you can have as many as you like, bliss! warning-wear stretchy clothes. More

Fantastic food and service at The Fat Goose. The two courses for £10 or three courses for £12.50pp is excellent value for money. My wife and I were bowled over by the fantastic food (including fillet of Sea Bass and Butternut Squash and Blue Cheese Risotto) and attentiveness of the staff. Can't wait to return. More
