This was one of my favorite places to visit in Cape Town, now not anymore!! We waited for about an hour for a table. People who came after us got a table before we did. The host came to us to let us know that our table was ready and being cleared and cleaned and will only take 2minutes, needless... More

Advised by our hotel we went one night to this restaurant and although something had gone wrong with our reservation we were still seated after less than 5 minutes. The view over the bay is stunning. The interior of the restaurant is what a fish restaurant should look like and the food is what you go t a fish restaurant... More

The food and service was good and a nice view of the harbour. However the prices are somewhat higher compared to similar restaurants in Cape Town. More

We went with 7 friends for an early dinner at the Harbour House. The location is great and the food, fish soup and sole were excellent. The service is poor. We had to catch a waiter on multiple occasions and had to ask at least three times for napkins. R 155 for a portion of kingklip, although fresh and with... More

My husband & I went here for lunch as we were desperate for some nice healthy fish or seafood. It did not disappoint. We had the most amazing seafood platter which included incredibly tender calamari & crayfish. It was accompanied by a fresh salad & vegetable rice. Our table was right by the window in the corner looking directly over... More

Had one of the best meals here. Great fresh sea food, knowleable staff. Great location especially when the waves crash against the restaurant windows. Good food and no pretence. Definitely make sure you visit. YUM!! More

Compared to their branch on the waterfront in Cape Town this is so much more real, the complete atmosphere of an old harbor village, even the funkiness comes through, despite the flawless and impeccable appearance of that remarkable venue. Our waiter was one of the most charming we had this year during our trip through the region, ask for Credric... More

The Harbour House delighted us with that rare combination of an unbeatable seafront location and delicious food. Felix, our waiter, was wonderfully attentive and helpful, going to great lengths to accomodate us and our 2 month old son at a window table. It is well worth it to reserve a few days in advance to make sure you get a... More

Our first full day in SA and friends who know the lie of the land bought us on a not insubstantial journey from Camps Bay over to Kalk Bay to dine at Harbour House - we weren't disappointed. The first thing that strikes you are the stunning views onto the harbour of which the majority of tables overlook. Though there... More

We originally requested a non-smoking table for a mid-week lunch, but seeing that it was packed to the gills, we chose the smoking area instead, which actually turned out to be pretty empty and had an excellent view of the harbour and it's goings-on. One of these was the frolicking of some seals that had swum right into the harbour... More
