Just returned from my first visit to Canada so I was unaware of how popular breakfast was. The breakfast menu is available til 2pm which was great for a late start. Sat. brunch, restaurant was near full & busy. Fast friendly service. Husband really enjoyed his db eggs benny. Perfectly done. Now he'll be comparing all his bennys to this! I highly recommend Chez Francois Restaurant. Very good food at a reasonable price. The breakfast is outstanding, it is the only place I would go for breakfast in Canmore. more
Traditional breakfasts are very good here. A very good selection of breakfast combinations with excellent omlettes, eggs benedict, french toast, etc. We did not have supper here so can't comment on that. Price were reasonable -in the $8 to $10 range. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. more
Steak was actually not that flavourful. The beans were not tender and were fibrous and difficult to chew. The dessert was incredible though, get ice cream on apple pie, but then, who can really get that wrong? more
We ate at this restaurant end of June 2007 and had a lovely experience. The ambience is very nice and the staff managed to squeeze us in without a booking on a busy evening (it seems very popular with the locals).
