For a town devoid of fine places to eat, Buell Street Bistro is OK. Good, clean, nice. Don't expect high end.
We celebrated a surprise birthday party and the staff at the Buell St. Bistro were both friendly and helpful in coordinating all the arrangements and even supplied (at our request) a cute little birthday cake. our group thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the friendly atmosphere and the service; we would not hesitate to recommend the Buell St. Bistro to others!
Buell Street is probably the best food in town at good food, reasonable prices. Great for lunch. lways something new on the menu.
Brockville is not famous for gourmet restaurant but this is a good solid choice. It is a few blocks from the Green Door B&B (best small hotel in town)
We had 2 excellent meals at the Buell St. Bistro. The patio is a really nice place to eat with ample parking. My wife had the salmon (twice) and I the same with the steak. My son had chicken and veg. The meat and vegetable were cooked to perfection. The only issue was our desserts were, ok to so-so. My... More

Service was good but tough on the one waitress for a six table room... could have been more staff.. waitress did as good as she could given work load. Menu is reasonably varied fairly priced. Appetizers offer Mussels, Escargots, Salads... More
We were in town to visit the Fulford Place and asked one of the guides where she'd suggest for lunch. What a treat this place is. It is lovely inside, very quiet and delightful. Our food was great, but I have to especially recommend the chilled melon gazpacho!!!!! We'd definitely visit again!
Today we had lunch at this Bistro outside on their terrace.Very pleasant with a large choice of lunch specials on the blackboard. I had the fettucini with mussels and sautee vegetables in a curry sauce and it was excellent. My husband had the soupe du jour and sandwich and it was also fresh and very good. Nice atmosphere on their... More
Service with a smile, my dinner was tasty - salad and salmon with prawns and fresh vegetables/rice. The cherry mango crumble was superb.

We had to wait for at least 5 minutes until we got seated, even though the place was half-empty, and nobody said "hi" to us. Unfortunately,... More
