Wow fantastic selection of schnitzel ! Very hard to choose one but I picked a great one! Lovely decor and outstanding service
Stopped here on our way back to Kimberley from Banff. It was busy and we had a short wait in the bar while our table was prepared. The food was good although I thought the spatzle was a little thick and long. Otherwise the food was good and the service was efficient. Our waitress JoAnn asked that we give greetings... More
Had dinner here on a Friday night while staying in Invermere. I had the special, while my fiancee had the schnitzel. My fiancee was a little disappointed that it was pork instead of veal, but otherwise our meal was very good. The wine and beer selection was excellent and fit with the German theme. There was a man playing music... More
This restaurant is out of this world good. We have dinned many, many times and each and every time it is a memorable dinning experience. The value and the quality are perfect. This is a outstanding restaurant, when in the area, make a reservation as they are very busy as most excellent restaurants are.
My Husband Geoff and I always try to find a character Restaurant to visit on Holiday and this one certainly is. From the outside you could be in the Black Forest Germany. The inside is even better as there are lots of German Murals on the walls. They show people in costume dancing and playing instruments. The centre light fitting... More
Everything was perfect, food, service, cleanliness!! Only problem was there to much food. Lol.... Will return again & again.
We stayed in Fairmont Hot Springs and drove up to Invermere and Saw the Black Forest. the food was very tasty. Schnitzel is a specialty. It was very delicious with a cream gravy and mushrooms. The red cabbage and vegetables were fresh and tasty. The staff was courteous and helpful.
The Black Forest restaurant is always a treat. The cheesy decorating just adds to the flair! Food is always good, beer is always cold...and it's walking distance to many hotels and motels. We usually stay at the Copperpoint Resort and it's only a 5 minute walk.
After golf we went to this establishment to have a traditional German meal. Everything about this restaurant is a "10". Service and food is just excellent. If you luv Schnitzel you must visit this location.
Wonderful traditional German dining experience. All 4 of us enjoyed our meals. The schnitzel with a white wine & mushroom sauce and spaetzle was terrific, as was the jaeger schnitzel. Also enjoyed shared desserts of Black Forrest cake and Apple Strudel. We had a lovely server from Switzerland which make the experience more authentic. Would recommend a reservation unless you're...
