The food is delicious and healthy. The staff very helpful but not intrusive. The service is speedy and it is right by the cinema (or shopping centre) so you can eat and have a life.
I went here with a work colleague for the first time. We loved the food, so tasty and good size portions. My pad Thai was delicious and food wasn't too salty or spicy, just right. Only thing I don't like is the wooden bench type seating, not very comfortable if you are sitting chatting while eating, rather than going just... More
A quick supper before the cinema and a return visit to this friendly restaurant seemed in order. The food is as ever very good (although I have to admit the menu hasn't changed in years) Best of all is the service ... the waiters are, as always - fantastic!
After a good meal at the Tampopo in Reading we thought we would try the one in Bristol on a recent visit and we weren't disappointed. Once again the food was really tasty and teh staff knowledgable about the menu and give helpful advice and reommendations.
I ate here with my husband and two adult children. It wasn't bad - all perfectly edible - but just dull. At the end there was no memory of any flavour but saltiness, and we were all full, but not satisfied.

The food was excellent- so much variety and good choice of vegetarian dishes (I had the Nyonya curry with tofu- absolutely delicious). Service was very friendly and the speed... More
Went in here on an unexpected stop over in Bristol for a quick lunch. I was recognised from previous visits which is always nice as I only visit maybe twice a year. Had excellent drinks service and did'nt wait long for my meal. Can't remember the exact dish I had but it was with chicken, noodles, spring onions and soy... More
I got take away from the Cabot Circus branch of Tampopo on a rainy Thursday night. I was surprised to see that the place was really full and buzzing. Nonetheless my take away order took less than ten minutes to get to me. I had the lime tofu with mushrooms. Tofu can be really bland but this was favourable and... More
This was our second visit and to our delight discovered that we get 25% discount (student). All was delicious and freshly cooked. Ingredients all fresh and tasty. Staff are friendly and surroundings are funky. Excellent midweek dinner.
