An excellent formula. Slightly off the beaten track - yet right under your nose as you go through the centre of Bristol. Unglamorous surroundings - but you go here to EAT! Ask for the Specials menu - and experiment with some unusual dishes. Service is fine, the staff friendly - the food just great! more

They serve the most authentic Cantonese cooking in Bristol. What they offer is good honest tasty homestyle cooking. They do not offer the fine dining dishes served in expensive Chinese restaurants. Mayflower simply serves the best chinese food in Bristol, and maybe even the South West. The chinese food is as authentic as they get. Come here for dinner, order a few dishes to be savoured with your loved ones. You won't regret it. Do NOT however, order a single dish per person and let each person have their own rice.... more
