The first thing we noticed was the relaxed atmosphere, which remained throughout a very busy Saturday evening. Attentive waitreses (plenty of them) served the delicious food with a friendly manner. I have visited the G&D several times both for lunch and evening meals. Always had good service and the food is amongst the best pub fare in Cheshire, and I've sampled a lot! Friendly and helpful staff complement the relaxing ambience. I'll definitely be going back for more. more
