Found this place when going to the Hoe for Remembrance Sunday, booked for the following Friday night and wasn't disappointed. Food and service excellent, will definitely go back again.
Dined here one night late simply because it was close to our hotel. The food was good and the service very good. A rather roundabout way to get in. The restaurant was virtually empty when we ate. It was nothing very special but there was nothing to complain about, food was pleasant, and acceptable price.
Unfortunately not what it used to be. The place was virtually empty - for a Saturday night this is not a great sign! We used to go here a lot - it was a great place, never failed to satisfy on service, food quality and was always busy. Sadly, the standard of the food has declined somewhat. The starters were... More
We always receive a warm welcome. The staff are always friendly and welcome. I am never disappointed with the Thai cuisine. I do find that two courses are as much as I can manage. The portions are very generous. The drinks are a tad expensive, but the tasty food, service, and atmosphere compensate for that. The one disappointing part of... More

The Thai fishcakes were very rubbery with not much flavour at all, although the dip was better. My companions faired better with the spring rolls, which they quite enjoyed. The mains were just about ok, but nothing... More
A busy night indeed but the barman/waiter quickly found a table for one for which i was very grateful. Previous reviews have stated that the basement entry looks tired and the lighting isnt upto much, the decor looks dated also but its the food, especially Thai, which counts. The Thai fish cakes at around £6 for 4 were a little... More
The entrance is via the basement which is not well lit and looks very tired. The decor in the restaurant itself is tired too. The service was very good but the food was really disappointing. I The background music was dire and one track in particular was repeated on at least four occasions. Overall, the prices were reasonable but we... More
I really do not understand the high ratings here on Trip Advisor. I can only imagine that the average reviewer must dine on microwave meals the rest of the week - the type of person who thinks eating Walls Vienneta is 'dead posh'. Food is very average quality and is totally overpriced while the atmosphere is that of a Birmingham... More
