Whilst in Torquay recently my girlfriend and I visisted this pub/restaurant. The bar and bar staff were good whilst the restaurant staff were not quite so good. The restaurant staff were very casual in their approach and the service reflected this. Although the menu was good and the kitchens open so you see the cooks I found the food less... more

Food was very good , service good people friendly . AS you were eating your meal you could/nt help think of the past and how the sailors etc. would have been drinking in the same pub as you were in,and probably discussing their piracy, Very interesting restuarant. more
