We were expecting to go out and try different restaurants in Torquay for the 4 nights, but after a wonderful meal in the bar on the first night (The Restaurant was closed on the Sunday night) the food was so good that we decided to eat in the bar the other 3 nights. Have eaten here a number of times and the food has alway been wonderful. It's pub grub with a posh twist and is always presented nicely. Staff are always very friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have an enjoyable experience. more

We have now visited the restaurant twice in the last 4 weeks, first for my birthday with friends and secondly with the in-laws. Clumsy, but likeable. The “INN” at the Grosvenor could be a complete disaster if it wasn’t for the chef, yes thank god for the chef! We visited Torquay recently and went to the Inn @ the Grosvenor for a meal and we were very glad we chose it. The surroundings were pleasant, the staff were pleasant and the food was excellent. The INN @ the Grosvenor came highly recommended from the owners of Ke'thla House, and we weren't disappointed! A beautifully cooked and presented meal for both of us, great service, lovely surroundings and Mike, a fellow West Midlander made us feel quite at home. We visit Torquay several times a year and in future you will be on our itinery! more

After a horrendous dining experience the night before, it was great to come into the welcome of this restaurant. The staff and mine host were friendly and attentive. The food was reasonably priced and of good quality. We would certainly become regulars if we lived nearby. more

My husband and I really enjoyed this restaurant, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was so delicious and well presented and good value for money. We live in Torquay and have Avenue Park Guest House. We often eat here ourselves with friends and family and send our guests here too. So far we have enjoyed all our meals and so have the guests. In a nutshell this restaurant does everything well. From a friendly welcome on arrival to good tasty food, smiling efficient staff and a relaxing atmosphere it ticks all the boxes.
