I used to live in the St Marychurch area and know the Royal of old. The drinks have always been a bit over-priced, but the layout is nice: especially good in the summer time. Had a meal here in January and probably eat here once every few months. Carvery is consistently good and fair priced at £7.95. Nice clean place with great views over Babbacombe Downs. More
