Decided to book this restaurant for my husband for his birthday so I booked over a month in advance. On the day of the booking, I get an email to day that my reservation had been cancelled due to a private function. I am not local to the area, so was really annoyed to find that we could no longer... every course good, including nibbles on arrival. couldn't manage the 3 desserts at the end, but had a lovely evening. business do with a large group of people who took over the whole restaurant - thought they did really well to manage us all and to produce such good food and service.

We attended To celebrate mums birthday. Took a gamble from trip advisor and certainly not dissapointed with the outcome. Will be attending next time in the area and advising friends. Look out for the canapés a simple but tasteful free touch.

Small it maybe, but the incredible food here speaks volumes for itself and for the talented chefs here. Bravo!!!! A definite new haunt of ours from now on in.

We visited on 04th April for a quiet dinner. We had never been before so had high expectations given the previous reviews on here. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is small (21 seats) but the tables are quite large so you have lots of individual room. We sat and ordered and whilst waiting for our starters we were served... More

Having been recommended to us by our accommodation we came here on a whim, Excellent food and wine in a nice cosy venue. Well cooked steaks and delicious (free) canapes to start the evening. Not really Bournemouth but if you're in Southbourne then it's a gem.

A wonderful evening. The food was first class and could not be faulted. I had shredded lamb to start and swordfish on a seafood risotto - absolutely stunning is all I can say. I wish I had room for pud! My partner had ham hock tart with a poached egg on top followed by a perfectly cooked steak and chips... More

Went this evening with my partner and had a great evening... Food was fantastic, the wine affordable and the service pleasant. The only thing that shocked us was the number of customers! We were 2 of only ten, although having said this the restaurant only seats 21!

We found this restaurant on Trip and decided to try it and were so pleased we did. The ambience and decor of the restaurant is absolutely first class with great attention to detail. We were greeted and served by the owner who was absolutely charming. We were served an amuse bouche and then I had Pan Fried King Prawns as... More

We went on a Wednesday night and although it was rather quiet the food was excellent, we received complementary canopes and a swift service! They had seemingly misplaced the Dijon mustard however the whole grain mustard was sublime. The toilets were well worth a visit and brilliantly decorated. Three Thumbs Up
