Visited the restaurant on a quiet Monday afternoon. Oysters to start which were lovely and fresh which some bread on the side. Both of us had fish and chips which were lovely and a very generous sized portion. Batter nice and light and fish lovely and flakey inside. Coffee to finish. Good value in a nice restaurant and very helpful... More

Lovely fish and chips! Beautiful cod in crispy.batter, thin chips, minted peas and homemade tartae sauce. Excellent service and tables out in the sunshine. Very good value for money. Highly recommended.

I start my dinner with a glass of sparkling English wine. A charming waiter Tom helped me to decide what to eat: grilled scallops followed by Pollock with rissoto. Scallops were incredibly good, but the Pollock with saphire doesn't realy go well with chorizzo rizotto, but it's just my opinion. The service was excellent and look forward for coming back... More

Although we go to Brighton a lot we have never managed to get booked for Fishy Fishy so were delighted when we popped in on the off chance and they had a free table for lunch. It was worth the wait. We shared a starter of squid and it was delicious and beautifully cooked. For mains I went for the... More

We tend to eat where we know we will get good quality food and service; hence at times get a little reluctant to try anywhere new. Everyone works hard for a living and so it is so incredibly disappointing when you spend money on a meal that you don't enjoy etc. Anyhow, today was such a gloriously sunny day that... More

We have heard some great reviews about Fishy Fishy so decided to give it a go. A hive of activity surrounds this restaurant and is in a fantastic location. The frontage looks enticing with a large array of outside seating and 3 floors of tables inside. We booked a table of 4 for a Saturday night and told that our... More

Sits in a nice square with a glass cube infront of the restaurant. When they tell you that the gurnard is finished that is a good sign! I had the fish soup, packed with 4 large mussels and range of white fish, with nice accomplishments. Lemon sole was excellent, with peas and new season asparagus. Reasonable wine selection, with 175... More

Located in a lovely little bustling square in Brighton, set back from the promenade. The restaurant was fairly busy downstairs and quieter upstairs were we were...that was fine though... Service was excellent and the food very good. I had oysters and cockle Vongole; the oysters were good but the Vongole was superb. My friends had fish & chips which they... More

We had been to this restaurant today and the food was awful. The waitress forgot to bring the bread we ordered as starter, the fish soup was watery and frozen fish. The main dish - pollock was not at all tasty and the waitress even forgot the sauce which we had to ask for. The paella was not at all good... More
