Once again on our trip to Brighton we had a great meal at Gars. Good food, good atmosphere and very good service. Will go back again next time as usual! more
Been to see a show at the Dome - "grumpy old women"- very funny but it finished at 10.15 - where to go ?Most restaurants close earlier especially as it was a Monday- Gars was open so we booked at 10.15 pm-its a chinese restaurant. Had dinner here on Friday 26th June with my husband and it was wonderful. We hadn't made a reservation but they sat us by the bar and provided prawn crackers, 20 minutes later we were shown to a table. When on top form, superb food. Service varies, dinner usually better than lunch more
We ate in Gars restaurant in the Lanes after reading reviews but we were a bit disappointed with the meal. Starter was fine but the main meal was cold and had to be sent back. The service was ok but not made to feel that wecome strange as there was only one other couple eating. Expensive for what you got.... more
