I visited this restaurant some years ago when it first opened. It was OK, the food wasn't amazing but it was ok. Thursday night, my husband suggested we visit Indian Summer - we were both up for an indian meal. Ambience was good, service was excellent. I visited the ladies' when we arrived - all spotless and very pleasant washing... more

Totally by chance I ended up dining here one evening and Terre a Terre the following, not realising they are next to one another. To my amazement I enjoyed Indian Summer more, as did a French vegetarian friend. It's a small menu, presented like a little novel, with an interesting twist on old favourites. Not the very best exquisite indian... more

Visited this restaurant on a Saturday night and loved it. Fabulous service, beautiful decor and the food was amazing - quite a limited menu but everything was perfectly cooked. Would highly recommend the espresso cheesecake - it was a real work of art and tasted sublime! It was expensive in comparison to most of the local Indian restaurants, but worth... more

An unusual menu offering vegetarian, red/white meat and fish dishes. Our party tried a cross section of menu choices and all agreed that the food was flavoursome, spicy but not hot (unless requested) and nicely presented in a variety of different ways depending on the dish. The lamb used was very tender and the chicken very moist. A complementary cup... more

If you want a Chicken Korma, Prawn Madras or a Chicken Tikka then this place is not for you because they are not on the menu. What is on the menu, however, is a completely different selection of indian food at reasonable prices (£19.95 for two courses) which is well presented and, most importantly, lives up to expectations. My wife... more

We went on a weeknight to celebrate a friend passing her PhD examination. We were pleased to find they were running a promotion where they had a £10 menu. This menu was limited to a few choices for each course. As there were a large number of us, we got to see what each choice was. All of the dishes... more

We were in Brighton for a conference at the Hilton, and arrived early and decided to go for an Indian meal. We were reccomended by another Indian restaurant to go to INDIAN SUMMER. So off we went not knowing what to expect. I had in my mind what I was going to order as I have been to a curry... more

We went to Due South last summer and had a lovely meal so decided to go back recently. The staff are friendly and our starters were ok, but we all ordered the Duck which was a real mistake. It was so over cooked that it tasted like dry liver. I hope this was a blip as this has been a... more
