Staff very cheerful and helpful. Best fish and chips i've had. Huge portion.....well worth a visit, if you want to sit in to eat your fish and chips. Lots of choice too!

Basic café décor but very clean -it reminded me of the old fashioned 50's/60's fish and chip cafes in style. Tables fairly close together.The waitress was extremely quick and efficient. We visited on Saturday Lunchtime. Had the special of Skate, Chips and salad (they grilled the fish for us). It was great the only fault found was that the fish was so large we could not finish it. Why are people giving this place above 1 star is beyond me. I don't know what the chips are cooked in buy they are always wrinkly, dark and greasy. I am a local, so I know what a good chip is.
