Went here Nov 08 with my friend. Nice surroundings. Good food - large portions but I lasted the course. Service a bit slow but we were deep in conversation. Lots on the menu. We spent ~£25 each for 2 courses and drinks. more

Bar area is nicely decorated with comfy sofas, pictures on walls etc., Restaurant area is ok, big wooden tables not too close to each other. However, food is fairly standard pub grub and the wait for the food when we visited was extraordinarily long. There are better places to visit! more

Attractive decor, staff could be a bit friendlier, they mostly looked bored! Good menu, reasonable prices, food is fine, just not fabulous! As it was Sunday most of us had a roast priced at about £10. more
