I joined a group of friends for Sunday breakfast. I requested a latte which turned up within five minutes, however, it was luke warm. The waitress took it back (no apology) and a few minutes later a hand appeared around the seat and placed the same coffee on my saucer. I drank the coffee unaware as to how hot it... more

Mrs G and I popped in last Friday night earlyish around 6 on the way home. Had a very good meal of scallops followed by pork tenderloin. Both were superb and served by the amusing owner amid good-hearted banter. One thing spoiled an otherwise perfect sojourn...£4.50 for a glass of Pinot G is excessive. Have been in here a couple of times now, either for just a glass of wine, a weekday lunchtime sandwich and also for breakfast at the weekend which was lovely. Would highly recommend visiting. more

Enjoyed the food, limited menu though, only 4-5 choices per course. Relaxed atomosphere and service good. Food tasty. Well put together menu. more
