Lovely food and service , the seating could be better and its very cramped but this is part of its charm :)
We think of ourselves as really quite discerning and not the easiest customers to please. However the Moka is just lovely, it is what it is and does what it sets out to do just fine. Cosy and bustling with charming staff, the food is of good quality and home-made (their cheese scones are to die for), cakes and savouries... More
The Mocha Bar has been on the corner of East Street and Church Street for a long time and in all those years has never fallen short of the highest standards. Under the control of its patrone, the waitresses are polite and helpful as well as very pretty. There are always newspapers to read, neatly folded, and magazines. This is... More
It used to be a nice little place, but visited recently and has gone really downhill. Management looked miserable and were actually quite rude. Waitresses looked to young to be working and didn't really seem to know what there were doing. The decor is dated and it is stupidly laid out, very cramped! Food good though! I would NOT recommend.
We have been visiting the Moka bar for over 7 years on our visits to Hereford. True the place is small but it's cosy and run very efficiently. The staff are always friendly and chatty. The board menu changes regularly to use fresh local produce. The food has always been delicious, freshly made and good portions- from yummy toasties and... More
Popped in with friends for a spot of lunch, Staff short and busy with their night out the night before, food took forty minutes to come. We just ate and left really has gone down hill, used to be a wonderful little gem.
Excellent food. Enjoyed a chili beef savoury pancake topped with cheese Nacho's (coated generously in sour cream and guacamole) - All washed down with a Banana Milkshake! Great Service and excellent value
I visited with a friend, it is quite cramped, but managed to get a small table, we ordered two vegetarian dishes, one of which had pieces of meat in it, and the eggs were raw in the middle. We complained and a refund was given for the dish, which was not eaten but no apology. I think there are nicer... More
This is a brilliant independently run cafe. I always enjoy their large range of specials, from soups to fish platter. The girls are always friendly and service is quick. Can't really fault, a must visit!!!
Sitting on an alleyway corner that leads directly to Hereford Cathedraln(Church Street), this is a popular meeting and eating point. Better than many of the US style chains. Seating can seem full, but make your way to the back were more space is available. Good broad selection and reasonable prices. Table service. To confuse matters this place also listed under... More
