Very inviting from the outside.....as soon as your in ......the 7Os decor hits you, the waiter looked(skinny one with teeth missing) and smelt unbearable. we ordered our favorite chicken jalfrezi ,chicken tikka masala, and a few sundries, we don't know wot was given to us ,nothing like we have ever had,been to many Indian restaurants.That food was uneatable. put me... more

Oh my word, what a dump! We crawled into Rays Place after Beverley Races last year. Bad bad bad. Im not sure what flavours the currys are supposed to be but theyre certainly not your run of the mill 'korma'. The redeeming quality of this place is that it's BYO. But the curries to me all looked and tasted the same - kind of pink in colour and they were very generous with the grease. Not my kind of curry house even after drinking all day. more
