I've stayed here twice now and enjoyed both stays. The first time was February when it was quiet, and the second late August when it was pretty busy as you'd expect in the Lakes at that time. I stayed 3 nights both times. I had a different single room each time, both pretty and very comfortable with ensuite shower rooms.... more

Beautiful views if you're sitting outside but the food leaves a lot to be desired. Overpriced and not particularly great. We had a pizza that was £13 (!!) and the base was not even fresh - bought in rubbish. The steak was only available with fried things (mushrooms, onion rings etc...) and we had to pay extra to replace these... more

Wateredge Inn is in a nice location by the Lake Windermere. The food is above average, although lots of kids about so we too a quieter seat out of the way with no lake view. more
