Great place for romantic meal, need to book early as can be difficult to get a table at late notice. Just proves it's a popular venue in Liverpool. Lots of parking close by as well.
My first visit here. Am amazed by the service and their friendly staff and of course the food. My starter beet root soup is somehow taste special to me. Love it! Overall 2 thumbs up! Will be back again...
On Rodney Street, 2 mins from the eating mecca that is Hope Street. It's a welcoming bistro-type place, friendly and vaguely romantic. I really enjoyed my meal there, especially the starter. We started with a ham hock pudding and a mini fish pie. The ham hock was in suet (I think). Generous and moist chunks, cooked in its juices. There... More
On a recent visit to Liverpool for my daughter's birthday, we decided to book a meal here as part of the celebrations. The restaurant is very cosy and intimate place and has a good atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and the food was fantastic. My daughter particularly enjoyed the Duck whilst all three of us agreed that the desserts were... More
Delightful restaurant set between the two Cathedrals but very accessible from the City Centre. We had an excellent supper after the opera at the Empire and food, service and atmosphere were uniformly good.
What is there not to like. Small, cosy and a great laid back atmosphere. Together with fantastic food makes this a must eat place in Liverpool. We went for an evening meal and ate of the three course menu and was not disappointed. All courses were fabulous and will be returning.
Great, cosy atmosphere, attentive, knowledgable staff and the food was simply gorgeous. Starter was halloumi with mustard crust, a generous portion and so moreish. Main was rump of lamb, melt in the mouth, the best lamb I have tasted. Was very full at this point but couldn't resist desert, millionaires square with salted caramel ice-cream-wow! Pushka is at the top... More
Visited Puschka for the first time after thinking about going there for a number of years and I am sorry I went in the end. The staff waiting the tables were very nice, accommodating and friendly but the food was average at best and given that it is quite an expensive restaurant this represents poor value in my opinion. Will... More
This is a great little venue, very pretty & nice food. They forgot to bring us menus so we were left for a little while before we asked - but we didn't mind as we weren't in a rush, aside of that the service was attentive. We all thought our food was nice and there was a good 'buzzy' atmosphere.
We were met with a warm welcome and given time to peruse the menu. Lovely interior, tasteful simplicity. We opted for the early evening menu as we were moving on to a concert later, not a huge choice but sufficient for most tastes I would suggest. I started with a three bean salad and my husband opted for smoked mackerel... More
