I love MEET, the food is well presented, filling and refreshingly unpretentious. Staff are pleasant and efficient and the atmosphere is good.
I visited on 2/12/13 with a friend around 5pm. For a pretty much empty restaurant with more staff than customers I was so disappointed. Both me and my friend ordered T Bone Steak Medium rare. The steak was cooked well but was cold, drowned in some sort of vinaigrette and full of fat. Considering it was a £26 steak you... More
My wife and I visited meet during our recent weekend in Liverpool. We arrived on a busy Friday night with lots of large parties already seated and worried that we might be waiting sometime for food, we had the pate and lobster bites to start which arrived promptly both nice although bites were in all honesty deep fried scampi. Then... More
Still shocked as to why this restaurant is not rated as no 1! Atmosphere and service is fantastic and If you love a steak you need to come here it's a real treat!
This is the fourth time we have been to Meet and we haven't had a bad meal yet.the atmosphere is lively and friendly and the steaks are great ,nicely seasoned and presented.(dont worry its not all meat there are plenty of other dishes for the non carnivore)
We went here on a Monday night , having checked reviews here first. It was quite busy (good sign!). Nice warn welcome and great service throughout. Don't mess about just go for the fillet. Saw the comments about high priced wine and we did pay £21 for a bottle but i kind of expect that in a city centre restaurant... More
The food is great, don't get me wrong. But ... service was not :( I chose to come here for my birthday from a previous visit in September when it was lovely. Despite having booked there was no table for us, none of the staff really wanted to wait on table when we did finally sit down. It was a... More
Well almost. My husband and I have eaten here three times, once two years ago, and twice this past October, 2013. We enjoyed it every time, that's why we keep coming back when in Liverpool. We have eaten at some similar restaurants in Buenos Aires so we feel this is authentic. We had the shrimp appetizer last time that I... More

I don't understand it's popularity. Steak and salad, same salad for every dish, the salad is sat on the front of the open plan kitchen in the warm restaurant, not chilled at all, I had a fairly large steak, I can't remember the cut to be fair, it was of a good size, but not that well seasoned. High point,... More
