This is in a quiet little backwater of Temple but good Italian food and very pleasant service. Unfortunately it doesn't open at the weekends so only a weekday venue
In London for the day and near Inner Temple when we stopped here for lunch. We went about half 2 so missed the lunch rush so the place was quiet. I had pizza and my other half had carbonara and both were very good for the price. Food came out quickly, was hot and tasted great.
8 friends and I had a great evening in Tempio on 5 July. The service was very good as was the food. The waitress was very pleasant and attentive. I will definitely.
Getting to the Temple is always worth it but this beautiful piece of heaven on earth is especially difficult! Located not at all near London (perhaps the most misidentifyingly named temple on earth!) it takes some train-bus-taxi action if you don't have a car. Nice family run Italian, passed on from father to his 2 sons. The family also used to run The Wine Press on Fleet Street before its lease came to an end. This is a nice spot tucked away in the basement of a large office building in the middle of the legal quarter (just outside the Temple). Excellent thin crust... More
Spent an enjoyable evening in Tempio celebrating a friend's birthday. The bar is small and cosy and the staff were very attentive. Considering the location I was pleased to see that the prices were reasonable. The food looked good but I didn't actually have anything myself.
I live in a block of flats nearby and we often use Tempio in the evening. They have a decent menu and wine list, the food is sensibly priced and well cooked. Service is friendly and prompt. Its well worth seeking out as its much better value than most of the restaurants nearby in Fleet Street and around St. Paul's.... More
Me and my boyfriend visited Tempio on a Friday night for dinner. The service was great and the food was lovely. Nothing to complain about. Great if u want a quiet meal at decent prices.
Was taken to Tempio for lunch by work, the menu was extensive and the dishes were of a reasonable price. I ordered a pizza quatro stagioni, which was tasty and of a good size but not over filling. My coke was cold but despite coming in the bottle lacked fizz, having possibly been opened in advance.
