I was alone and opted for the carry out, the large cod fish & chips @ 8.20. Other reviewers complained about the excess batter on the fish. This is how fish & chips are prepared. Honestly, the cod was so moist, it would have been excellent without the batter. I highly recommend this establishment

If you like crispy chips this is the place! Have been here many many times. Normally have cod and chips with mushy peas. Prawn cocktail is massive. Greek salad tasty. Regular staff are friendly as is owner who seems to know most of the diners! It's a BYO and they don't seem to charge for corkage

This is the best fish and chips, we have ever had. The breaded is thin and crispy. Generous amount of fish. The place can be quite crowded but moving fast, no frill place with local ambiance. We'll be back.

If you want good quality fish and chips this is the place to go. Great service; friendly staff; good food (if you don't want F&C then this won't be the place for you!); good value; and bring your own wine - no problem. It must be because it is run by a Greek!
